Rock Region METRO Streetcar
The Rock Region Metro Streetcar offers visitors a great introduction to Little Rock and its twin sister city across the Arkansas River, North Little Rock. And… until at least the end of 2020, a free ride too! Climb aboard this yellow (reproduction) electric-trolley for an hour-long tour of Little Rock’s Rivermarket district and North Little Rock’s Argenta district. Along the way, friendly and knowledgeable drivers call out fun facts and trivial tidbits about the area’s history and the local landmarks along the route.
Hop-on/hop-off at attractions such as the Clinton Presidential Center, Heifer International, and the Old State House Museum on the Little Rock Side; Verizon Arena, Dickey-Stephens Park, and the USS Razorback – Arkansas Inland Maritime Museum on the North Little Rock side.
Good to Know
- Rock Region METRO Streetcar has two routes – green and blue. Only the blue line crosses the Arkansas River to North Little Rock.
- Use one or both to get around the Rivermarket district and for transport between the Rivermarket and Argenta districts.
